The increase of gold production volume takes place first of all due to the enhance of gold production in traditional gold mining regions: Krasnoyarskiy krai - increase of gold mining by 72,2%, Magadan region - 10,2%, Sverdlovsk region - 35,4%, Yakutia - 6,6%, Chelyabinsk region - 29,9%.

The participation of the largest banks of the Russian Federation in the sector financing has become one of the factors of gold production volume increase. According to the experts' forecast, this year gold production in Russia will total about 174 tons of the precious metal that is by 12,5% more than last year figures.
