Yesterday the "ALROSA" Company signed credit agreement for seven years and $40 mln with Chernomorsk Bank of trade and development. The bank plans to transfer the first credit tranche ($18,5 mln) in 2002, and the rest part of the credit in 2003.

The vice-president of "ALROSA" Dmitriy Novikov informed that the company hoped to have acquired till the end of the year the license from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to attract the next part of the revolving credit from the American Ex-Im Bank. It is planned, in particular, to direct the attracted means for the equipment buying.
