The President of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) V.A. Shtyrov appreciated the decree of the President of the Russian Federation on diamonds import and export. Mr. Shtyrov mentioned that the decree is of great importance for JSC "ALROSA", diamonds cutting companies and the whole Russian diamond market.

According to the new decree, cutting companies are allowed to sell in the free market up to 15% of raw diamonds, JSC "ALROSA" can create its own distribution network abroad. Besides, the company can obtain credits for the production development as the decree provides long-term quotas for raw diamonds export. Mr. Shtyrov defined JSC "ALROSA" as one of the best Russian companies according to its engineering and economic indices.
