According to the vice-prime minister Alexey Kudrin, in the nearest future the President of the Russian Federation intends to sign the decree "On raw diamonds import and export". The decree provides for the long-term quotas (up to 5 years) for raw diamonds export. A. Kudrin emphasized that it was the first serious step forwards Russian diamond market liberalization.
