It was reported to Prime- TASS, 25 lots worth $6,7 million were presented for sale by Russian Diamond Chamber during the Trade Session that started today in Moscow.

Such members of the Diamond Chamber as Russia's largest diamond producer "Smolensk Crystal" Plant, Precious Metals Committee of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and JC "Grace" as ape participating in event, including non-members. The diamonds are sold to the to wholesale buyers, mostly represented by foreign American, Isralian and Belgian companies, as well as in retail to Russian jewelers.

This is not the first Trading Session of organized by The Chamber this year. In the summer $1,5 million worth of diamonds were sold, which in the autumn increased up to $3,3 million. However it is unlikely that this year's figures will beat the record of $ 30 million achieved last year.

The present will last till December 21.
