New project of the federal law "On currency regulation and currency control" was approved on Thursday. The law defines the list of currency values.

Precious metals and gemstones the circulation of which is regulated by the different federal law are removed from currency values. Currency values list includes foreign exchange and currency and foreign securities.

There is also a new definition of exchange operation in the bill.
