On November 21 2002, the Bank of Russia begins memorial coins of "Zodiac signs" series issue with the Capricorn:

• silver coins at face value of 2 roubles (precious metal mass - 15,55g, purity of alloy - 925)
• golden coins at face value of 25 roubles (precious metal mass - 3,11g, purity of alloy - 999).

There are up to 20 thou silver coins and 10 thou golden coins issued.

They are legal payment method in Russian Federation.
