In Olekminsk region in Yakutia the first party of gold has been mined
On November 11, the President of Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Vyacheslav Shtyrov visited ore gold deposit "Tabornoye" where he participated in the ceremony of the first leached gold extraction. The method of leaching is gaining great importance in gold production development in the South of Yakutia.
In March 2001, OJSC "Neryungry-Metallik" obtained the licence to exploit the resources of ore gold deposit "Tabornoye" for geological exploration and gold mining till 2020.
