MMC " Norilsk Nickel" creates additional force for processing secondary materials containing precious metals using the base of JSC "Severonickel" in Murmansk region. This was reported to Interfax Information Agency by Alexander Ryzhov, the Chief Executive of Precious Metals Division of Norilsk Nickel during the 4th International Business Conference "Russian Market of Precious Metals and Gemstones". According to the company's experts at the moment there are plenty out-of use auto, chemical and fuel catalysts, which main components are platinum group metals "By the years 2005-2006 we would be able to extract 30-40 tons of palladium from secondary materials", notes Alexander Ryzhov.
