The Ministry of Finance of Russian Federation holds an open auction on October 29, 2002. During this event it is planned to sell the diamonds of special sizes weighting 10,8 ct and more in the domestic market. The issue of the auction is the right to conclude contracts of special size diamonds sale.

Only Russian companies that have filed an application and transferred the advance may participate in the auction. The advance for the diamonds to the amount of 30 thou roubles is to transfer by Russian processing organisation to the settlement account of GOKHRAN of Russia.

Those companies that have proposed the highest price for a lot are considered to win.
