Regional museum of jewellery and stone cutting art starts to celebrate its 10 anniversary today. A conference devoted to the jubilee celebration is opening in Ekaterinburg. At the conference experts will describe archaeological investigations and finds within the area of the museum. Yuriy Polenov, the professor of Ural Geological Academy, will report on the criteria of gemstones authenticity. The results of jewellery and stone cutting art competition will become known on the second day of the conference.

On Wednesday, October 23, acquaintance with the unique museum exhibits will finish the work of the conference.
