On Wednesday the international exposition of diamonds was open in Antwerp with participation of the Prince of Belgium Philip and the Princess Matilda.

The exhibition will be open for the whole month. It includes very interesting jewellery with diamonds dated even to XV century when people learned to cut and polish the solidest stone. The exhibits came from Belgian, German, Portuguese museums and private collections from Europe, New-York and Japan. Russia is presented by royal collection items. Unfortunately, neither GOKHRAN nor the State Hermitage managed to take part in the exhibition.

The exhibition of diamonds does not happen often. In Antwerp it took place five years ago last time.
