The conference "International diamond politics and strategy" took place in Antwerp. This place has not been chosen accidentally. It is the largest centre of diamond trade, where 85% of world raw diamond turnover pass through and four the largest diamond exchanges and 1644 firms are situated. Russia was presented by "ALROSA", Diamond Chamber of Russia and Association of Diamond Producers of Russia. The agreement provides concerned action in numerous fields of diamond industry including Russian specialists training in Belgium and the Kimberley's process advancement.

The Kimberley's process was one of the topics of the conference. The matter is that in some African countries such as Congo, Angola, and Sierra Leone diamonds had been used as a war financing means. Three years ago UN appealed to all the countries to boycott such bargains.

The conference was also devoted to the changes in the natural diamonds market.
