On Tuesday the Bank of Russia begins memorial coins of "Zodiac signs" series issue: silver and golden coins with Scorpio at face value of 2 roubles (silver coins) and 25 roubles (gold coins). They are legal payment method in Russian Federation.

The coins are to be sold and it is banks that will determine their prices.

Meanwhile, the average retail price for silver coins at face value of 2 roubles with Leo and Virgo constitutes about 320 roubles. Golden coins of this series cost at average around 1350 roubles.
