On Monday the agreement on cooperation between High Diamond Council of Antwerp and Russian companies ("ALROSA", Diamond Chamber of Russia and Association of Diamond Producers of Russia) was signed. The agreement provides concerned action in numerous fields of diamond industry including the Kimberley's process advancement.

The Kimberley's process is one of the topics of "International diamond politics and strategy" conference that takes place in the largest centre of diamond trade. The conference is also devoted to the changes in the natural diamonds market.

The president of De Beers Company Nicolas Openheimer is sure that the company's mutual profitable relations with Russia will develop as successfully as they used to be. At the present moment he sees no great problems and estimates this cooperation as excellent and beneficial.
