American Company Odyssey Marine Exploration Inc. and the Government of Great Britain concluded an agreement on salvaging of a vessel sunken in the Mediterranean Sea. On board of the British ship Sussex sunken in 1964 there were golden coins of total cost in the end of 17 century of £1mln.

Experts of Odyssey Marine Exploration Inc. have been searching the vessel since 1998. As a result of four expeditions at depth of around 800m there was discovered a hill where cannons, guns, anchors etc. from the sunken in 17 century Britain flagship were found.

The American Company announced its find last September, but only now has it managed to achieve agreement on concerned action with the Government of Great Britain.
