On Thursday, October 3, 2002 in the Exhibition Hall of Artistic Industry Academy the Fair-exhibition "World of Stone" will take place. This event will mark the beginning of jewellery season in St.-Petersburg.

The basic event of the exhibition will be the fair where it will be possible not only to admire gemstones and jewellery but also to buy them. More than 300 jewellers and collectors from Russia, CIS and abroad will exhibit their collection stones and makes: jewellery, souvenirs, etc. Besides, books on jewellery art, stones cutting machinery will be presented there. Customers may check stones and makes bought at the fair - experts will be available at the exhibition and fair.

The exhibition "The Treasury of under-water World" will be one of the most interesting events, where fossilized animals, shells, corals will be demonstrated.

The first exhibition "World of Stone" took place in St.-Petersburg in April 1992. Since that time these shows have become annual.
