OCTOBER 1 ![]() The Central Bank of Russia issues silver coins of "Russian Architectural Memorials" series
On September 30, 2002, the Central Bank of Russia issued memorial silver coins of "Russian Architectural Memorials" series at face-value of 3 roubles. This series includes the coins presenting Iverskiy monastery in Valday and architectural group of Kidecksha with the church of Gleb and Boris. The weight of a coin is 31,1 g, the purity of alloy is 900. Coins are round and 39 mm in diameter. The number of coins issued is 10 thou of each sort.
