Diamond processing industry hit the target of 9 months comparing to the same period of 1999 by 66% increased the volume of realization by 86%, the source from Ministry of Industry informed. The figures do not include the output of ALROSA plants (30% and 49% rise).
The decline was at SAPI-Diam and at Pokrov plant and can be explained by structure rebuilding. Tuymaada Diamond cutting enterprises contributed mostly to the industry. The output of Choron Diamond became really significant for the total result.
According to the figures of 9 months the jewelry industry of Yakutiya has reached the level of 1999, the volume of realization increased by 42%. The leading enterprises didn't hit the target - Aldanzoloto -99%, Zoloto Yakutii - 98%, Sakhayuvelir - 92%. The reason for that was raw shortage especially in the first half of the year.
Raw shortage and the lack of current assets are the main problems of diamond processing industry. So the capacities are used properly.
Cutting enterprises increased the output by 57% comparing to 1999. The target was hit with 36% exceeding. The leading enterprise here is Vostokkvartssamotsvety with surpass of 78%.
