Norilsk Nickel is going to launch the automobile catalysts production for exports, the company informed. Together with Ford and General Motors the plant is assumed to produce palladium catalysts for the foreign-made cars.
In 2001 Norilsk Nickel will invest $600m in this project; foreign investments being undisclosed.
