GOKHRAN of Russia predicts the increase of gold mining and production in 2002 by 16,7% to 180 tons. On the 1st of September 108,2 tons of gold were mined and produced in Russia that is more by 16% as compared to the same period last year. The deputy director of GOKHRAN Vladimir Rybkin reported it.

The tentative forecast Of GOKHRAN for gold mining and production in Russia for 2002 was 175 tons. In 2001 in Russia there were 154,3 tons of gold produced.
