SEPTEMBER 17 ![]() Ekaterinburg. The demand on the memorable coins made of precious metals is growing
According to the UralBusiness Consulting, the Ural Bank of the Savings Bank of Russia sold 4.468 made of gold, silver, platinum and palladium in 2001. 5.387 coins have been sold in the current year. The volume of the gold coins sales this year is nine times as much compared to the last year (2.600 rubles per item). More than 2.000 silver coins have been sold. The demand for the gold coins at face value 200 rubles (16.750 rubles per item), platinum coins at face value 150 rubles (14.500 rubles) and palladium coins at face value 25 rubles (22.800 rubles) has appeared. The experts of the Currency and Non Trade Operations Board of the Ural Bank of the Savings Bank Of Russia say that the coins of precious metals remains not only a means of investment money but also a good present for friends relatives.
