SEPTEMBER 16 ![]() ALROSA has laid eyes on the Namibian diamonds
The president of à diamond company "ALROSA" Vladimir Kalitin has met the Ambassador of Namibia in Russia Martin N. Capevasha. As it has become known, the Russian company is preparing to enter the new African region after the expansion of the activity in Angola. That means that "ALROSA" is able to become competitive to the well-known Israeli businessman Lev Levaev, allotted there. We have not got any comments on the matter in the embassy of Namibia; in JSC "ALROSA" they say that the topic of the negotiations was the execution of the intergovernmental diamond agreement, which provides mining, searching for diamonds and even the creation of cutting production. The vice-president of "ALROSA" shared the opinion of the company authorities that after coming to the new level of work in Angola, the company is able to offer the same forms of cooperation in Namibia.
