International Jewellers' Congress, representing CIS countries, established new organization "Confederation of Jewellers' Associations of CIS Countries", on the 30th of August, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in Inter-Continental Congress Hall.

Such organization was initiated by national jewellers' guilds of Armenia, Kirgizia, Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine, which approved Confederation's Code of Conduct and signed Establishment contract.

Faizula Khadzhaev, the president of non-commercial and non-state organization "Jewellers of Uzbekistan" was elected as a first president of Confederation for the next two years. Its headquarters are to be located in Tashkent for the same period of time, while Organization itself is legally to be registered in Moscow.

CIS Jewellers place big hopes on this new international organization to revive jewellery industry and trade, under conditions of developing market's relations in economic space of these countries.
