In the first half year the fiscal burden on Norilsk Nickel companies rose 4.7 fold to achieve 25440.7m rub., the company informed. The taxes/obligatory payments/revenue from sales ratio is fixed to gain 41.1% against 20.3% in 1999.
The budget payments were raised 4 fold to come to 14008.9m rub.; 13992.8m rub. being paid off. The last year-tax debts have been restructured.
The payments to the non budget funds rose 2.3 fold to 4926.6m rub. The charges increased as a result of the rise in the 2000-revenues and payroll fund.
The company paid 4282.1m rub. in export custom duties and 819.8m rub. - in the imports.
