In Aug. the growth of the Russian industry achieved 10.2% against prior year period or 10% over 8 months, Goscomstat informed. To compare with July the daily industrial index rose 0.6%.
The top figures were fixed in microbiology (+20%), light industry (8.4%); non ferrous metallurgy (5.7%). The decline was registered in the building (-3.7%), medical (-7.7%) and food (-4.6%) sectors.
