The managing director of the De Beers diamond company, Gary Ralfe, who arrived in Moscow on Monday [11th September], will conduct consultations with Alrosa, Russia's biggest diamonds extracting company, on issues of the implementation of the trade agreement and prospects for cooperation. He will take part in the presentation of the "strategy of De Beers on the world diamonds market".
The general director of the Moscow office of De Beers, Ray Clarke, informed that Gary Ralfe would tell about new directions of the strategic development of the company, on relations with Russia and plans for the future.
In compliance with the trade agreement, the Alrosa company sells through De Beers Russian diamonds on the world market for the amount of 550m US dollars annually.
