ALROSA will invest above $400m in the development of Lomonosovskoe diamond deposit to be launched in IV quarter 2001, the company informed. To prepare the project 62m rub. have been transferred to Severalmaz account having the deposit license.
Now the feasibility study is under development at the back of the reserves appraisal and attraction of subcontractors and investors.
ALROSA is going to release $7.8m for Severalmaz over 2000-2001. Before the sale of 27.05% in the company De Beers proposed to spend $630m for the development.
