The volume of Precious metals and gemstones in state depositaries of Russian Federation may grow by 7 billion rubles. This was announced by Alexey Kudrin, Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance of Russia.

According to Mr Kudrin, such decision may well be made in case of non-collection of the funds and profits intended for paying-off the state debts, especially the privatising profits. Vice-Prime Minister also mentioned that it was planned earlier this year to increase the saldo of the sale-purchase of precious metals and gemstones from state depositaries by 2 billion rubles, from 10 billion that was planned originally.
