OJSC "Goulidov Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant" intends to start exporting" in large volumes" platinum group metals (pgm) compounds in 2003. According to Victor Korolenko, Technical Director and the leading engineer of the Plant, a new site for manufacturing pgm compounds, used in oil, chemical and automotive industries, was launched this August.

The product quality will be up to international standards and "if before we only produced pgm bars and powders, but since last year it extended to various platinum, palladium, rhodium iridium, ruthenium, gold and silver compounds. Last year there were several tens of kilograms of such compounds produced and with the launch of the new site, the plant plans to produce several tons of pgm compounds".
