AUGUST, 20 ![]() Gold jewellery discovered in "The Valley of the Kings" will be restored in St. Petersburg's State Hermitage Museum
Gold jewellery masterpieces, dating back to VI-V centuries B.C., discovered from unique burial grounds by St. Petersburg archeologists on the territory of the famous "Valley of the Kings" in Tuva this summer, have been passed to State Hermitage Museum for restoration.
The act of passing onto State Hermitage Museum for temporary storage of 9 367 items of unique Scythian burial, was signed on the 13th of August by the head of archeological department of Tuva and by the treasurer of the country's most famous museum. These items include both, male and female jewellery pieces.
