Andrey Klishas was elected a new chairman of the Council. Yuri Kotlyar, the former head of the Directorial board was appointed the managing director of OJSC Norilsk Nickel as well as the head of its Scientific Advisory Counsil. The Council discussed a course of the shares' exchange between OJSC "Norilsk nickel" and MMC "Norilsk Nickel" and were satisfied with the results so far.

The Council also stressed on the need of development of a scheme to protect the rights of those shareholders, who did not conduct the necessary exchange in time. Mr. Klishas' new assignment is believed to allow to coordinate the actions of two companies most effectively.
