Niether stock-exchanges, nor Norilsk Nickel itself have been given an explanation for such strict sanctions This particular case is trulyremarkable. Andrey Sergeevitch Richter, an owner of three (3) shares of Norilsk Nickel demands for urgent actions to be taken regarding the company "also dealing with production of non-ferrous metals", which illegally uses well-known brand of MMC "Norilsk Nickel", and therefore, affects the profits of OJSC "Norilsk Nickel".

Shareholder's claims, are of course absurd, as it is rather clear that Mining Metallurgical Company "Norilsk Nickel" and OJSC "Norilsk Nickel is practically the same company. After the process of restructorization is over, the head company OJSC "Norilsk Nickel" will become the daughter company, and all the actives and shareholders will of OJSC will belong to MMC. This only confirms the earlier version of Court's "custom-made" decision.
