In Atano-May area in the North of Khabarovsk Territory a new gold-mining factory is opened up at Ryabinovoe field. The factory belongs to Amur Artel of gold miners. As АК&М was informed by the management of the company, the output of the factory will make 2 ton of gold annually. This enterprise will not only extract gold from ore, but also remelt it in bullions.
Over results of 1999 Khabarovsk territory was among the first five gold-mining regions of the country, having extracted 12.32 ton of gold. The largest mine in the region is Multimodal (Nikolaev area). The proven reserves of precious metal in Multivershiny mine makes 105 ton. In Okhotsky area a new gold mining factory is also mounted now.
