Ministry of Natural Resources is planning to do a research work at Mendeleyev Arctic Shelf (300.000 sq.m.). The research will be done on board of the ship "Academician Fyodorov" with the support of ice-breaker "Arctica" and two aircrafts Mi-8MTV.
According to the forecast of the scientists the continental shelf of Russia possesses large deposits of oil, gas, gold, tin, diamonds and platinum ores.
The main job will be done by the Russian most efficient enterprises and will be invested by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
