Russian jewellers optimistically look forward in the future. This was mentioned by Valentin Skurlov, consultant of Russian division of "Christi's" auction in New York, during the press-conference dedicated to the visit to St. Petersburg of Tatiana Faberge, the great granddaughter of the famous Russian craftsman. The reason for such optimistic approach is the growing number of jewellery companies in St.Petersburg. If back in 1991 there as only 30, nowadays this number climb up to almoust 80. Moreover, according to the investigation of Mr. Skurlov, fine traditions of Faberge school will help to revive Russian jewellery industry.
