JULY 1  The city of Pskov prepares a contest for geological research and the following exploitation of a diamond deposits.
As it was reported by the Committee on Natural Resources of Pskov region, a new diamond deposits were discovered in Mishinogorsk district. This covers Gdovsk, Pluss, Pskov and Strugokrasny areas of the Pskov region. The Ministry of Natural Resources of Russian Federation and the Local Authorities of the Pskov region will be in charge of the conduct of the contest. An outline for the Order on conduction of the contest is currently being prepared. A fact, speaking in favour of the positive prospects of such contest is a previous discovery by geophysical methods of prospective geological structures of diamond deposits. Source: VolgaInform.Ru
