Decree by the Russian President Vladimir Putin which will enable diamond sale for financing repair work at Yakutia is expected soon, may be during this week, said reliable source from the company. Decree draft has been sanctioned by all the departments related to diamond complex. The document is now under examination of Government Chairman Mikhail Kasyanov who would present the document to the President.

Diamonds of over 50k of weigh are to be sold on auctions in Moscow. Russian as well as foreign buyers will be allowed to bid. Finance Ministry stated that the sale of unique Yakutia diamonds will not influence world diamond prices.
