A work meeting of Governor of the district Alexander Filipenko and ALROSA's President Vyacheslav Shtyrov took place in Khanty-Mansiysk. The talks touched upon the issue of broadening the fields of collaboration, Press Service of the Governor reports.

Main enterprises of ALROSA are located in Yakutia. Activities of the company range from geological survey to diamond cutting and building material production. Within next 5 years the company will develop its branches in Arkhangelskaya Oblast, Karelia, Leningradskaya Oblast and the Urals. Under the decree between ALROSA and Khanty-Mansiysky district geological survey is to be launched in By-Polar Urals. According to Alexander Filipenko, collaboration with one of the biggest diamond producing company is a very promising initiative for the region.
