The mystery of alchemists of all times is, probably, disclosed. Scientists worked out the technique to extract gold using some germs.

In her small laboratory Natalya Kuimova made a discovery which can result in revolution in gold extraction. Having studied the possibility of cells to accumulate metals she found bacteria that can accumulate gold.

To prove the theory a biological culture is put into a test-tube with gold solution. Finally, we see that the culture looks like a gold nugget having absorbed all the metal from water.

This method is bound to new promises as we can, say, monitor gold deposits if we find the cultures which absorb this or that kind of metal at the territory. This technology can replace cost-effective and ineffective dredge technique or chemical methods applied today.

And this can be used not only for gold, but for another types of rare metals. And the work can start at waste territories to process the metal which was impossible to extract. Moreover, the method is environmentally friendly since all the bacteria can be found in soils.

Advantages of the method are obvious and it caused a great interest in foreign countries. Chinese would like to apply it and to buy it at any cost, investors from Canada expressed their concern. but our scientists do not want to sell it as they think it should firstly be implemented in Russia.
