JULY 26, 2001 ![]() North-Eastern Bank of CBR to Circulate Honourary Coins Dedicated to Siberia Exploration
North-Eastern Bank of Central Bank of Russia began to circulate precious metal coins, issued in 2001. These are four coins of geographic series, which are commerated to Siberia exploration. Two silver coins named Siberia and Yermak's Trip to Siberia, 3 RUR and 25 RUR Par Value. Three ruble coin weighs at 31.1g and 25 ruble one - 155g. As for golden coins 50 ruble worth is dedicated to trip of Vasily Poyarkov, and 100 ruble worth is honours discovery of channel between Eurasia and America which had been made by Semyon Dezhnev. 100 ruble coin weighs at 15g.
