Deputies of State Duma passed amendments to Tax Code. Most of the legislators voted the governmental budgetforming draft. It will increase tax rate up to 12% for excised goods.

Under the new bill current rates for jewellery and natural gas will be the same - 5% for jewellery, 15% for gas exported to CIS countries and 30% - for foreign export.

The need to increase excise rates is motivated by inflation growth.
