Andrei Klishas, Chairman of the Director's Board announced at the Conference "Investments in Russia and CIS", London. According to him RAO "Norilsky Nickel" is to attract them without any borrowed assets. Investment program will soon be presented to the Director's Board. In particular, by 2005, investment of $2.5 bn is to be placed in industry of the region.

In addition to this about $400 mln is to be allocated for ecological program. Klishas said that volume of precious metal sales in the first quarter of 2001 was $680 mln, in the second - $600 mln, with precious metal realisation of 2000 about $2.3 bn.
