JUNE 11  The Government is to change the structure of "GOKHRAN", Russian State Depository for precious metals and gemstones
The government of Russian Federation prepares for introducing some changes in GOKHRAN's functions. From now on, the Head of GOKHRAN will not be simultaneously occupying the post of the Deputy Minister of Finance. This was reported to PRIME-TASS agency with reference to a source in the Ministry of Finance. On Friday Alexey Kudrin, the Minister of Finance signed an order to appoint Andrey Kutepov, the First Deputy Head of GOKHRAN, to perform the duties of the Head of the GOKHRAN FROM June 7th 2002. As it was reported earlier, Mikhail Kasianov, the Prime Minister signed on June 3rd an order of reassignment of Valery Rudakov from the post of Deputy-minister of Finance and the Head Of Russian State Depositary for precious metals "GOHKRAN" from June 7th 2002 due to his retirement.
