From June 5th 2002 Ural branch of Sberbank of Russia launches into sale memorial gold coins, dedicated to World Football Cup 2002 (31.05 - 30.06, Korea, Japan). Gold coins of 50 rubles weigh 7,78 grams with alloy purity of 90%. Coins are round-shaped, 22,6 mm in diameter, are of a proof quality and a legal payment method in Russian Federation, to be accepted in all payment methods with no exception. This was reported by IAA "UralBusinessConsulting" with reference to PR Department of the Ural branch of Sberbank of Russia.
