In accordance with task by RF Government workgroup of analysts examined current situation at Amber Plant of Kaliningrad. Headed by Valery Rudakov work group came to a conclusion that restructuring of the enterprise is necessary. Althought the date has not been yet determined reformation is to take place soon, Kaliningradskaya Pravda announced.

According to V.Rudakov the price of the amber during last 10-15 years became lower, so processors of the stone gain more than the producers. But the crucial purpose is to defend producers from any violators. Today there is no defence at the plant at all. So, the point of armed security was discussed with the heads of respective departments.

All the strengths will be aimed at marketing of the good. Current resources enable to increase amber production two times. Analysts state that all the amber market is formed by the products of the plant. Illegal amber turnover does not influence this market.
