On Thursday Russian diamond monopoly ALROSA and Volvo Truck Corporation entered long-term cooperation agreement, ALROSA Moscow agency told RIA Novosti.

In accordance with it until 2006 ALROSA will purchase Volvo equipment for 25 mln USD.

ALROSA agreement with Volvo is not the first one. Since 1998 70 trucks were bought for Almazdortrans, a member of ALROSA Group. They were used for oil transit at Lensk-Mirny-Udachny-Mirny-Lensk line (Yakutia).
