Law On Precious Metals has been approved in Armenia
According to ARKA Agency, the Parliament of Armenia has finely approved the new law On Precious Metals.
The new law regulates the juridical aspects of precious metals turnover and the rights of the State in the field.
In particular, the new law provides the rules of jewellery assaying. And according to the law, the following articles made of precious metals are not obliged to assaying: those of historical, religious and archaeological value, coins, orders, medals, medical and scientific equipment, articles weighing less than 1.5 grams.
