Up to 10 tons of gold a year are expected at Blagodatnoe deposit
According to RIA Press-Line, OJSC Polyus Gold plans to mine up to 10 tons of gold a year at Blagodatnoe gold deposit. It is expected that this level will be reached by 2010. The first lot of the precious metal is expected at the deposit in 2009.
Polyus Gold intends to invest $290 mln into the deposit, the balance resources of it being 220 tons.
