MAY 15  In the first quarter of 2002 the volume of diamond export in Armenia came up to 40 million USD
The volume of export of diamonds in Armenia for the first quarter of 2002 came up to 40 billion USD. This was reported by Garik Mkrtchan, the Head of the Administration for Jewellery Industry of the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development of Armenia. In the meantime, according to Mr. Mkrtchan, the volume of exported gold for the same period came up to 5 million USD. Source: IA "Finmarket"
